The local restaurant, the Red Rooster, is planning on changing its name and theme to a railroad one, the community of Reardan is selling t-shirts that say "Ride the Rails to Reardan – Inland Empire Railroad Historical Society", an 8x8 sign has been donated to note the future sight of the IERHS Museum, and flyers are being designed to be passed out to people at the "Mule Days". The Reardan City Council, and Chamber of Commerce has advertised the move in the Washington State Tourism Magazine, as well as submitted an article with a description of Reardan. Dale’s main message was that Reardan will do anything within it power to support and make the move of IEHRS a success.
Mike McMackin then introduced the author of "Wired for Success" and IERHS member, Charlie Mutschler, who gave a riveting talk about the Butte Anaconda & Pacific Railroad.
A good time was had by all.
