A new program open only to children ages 3 to 12 years old, regardless if a parent, friend or relative is an IERHS member or not. This is a great birthday gift idea for your children, grandchildren or other young relatives or friends. When you give a gift membership we’ll even send a gift card signed in your name. It is your chance to let them share in the excitement of railroading in the Inland Northwest.

Here is what a membership includes:

  1. Official Membership Card – This card entitles Junior Engineer members to special discounts on souvenirs, rides on the Fairgrounds Express and Society publications.
  2. Junior Engineers Newsletter – A special newsletter published four times a year written exclusively for Junior Engineers. Special articles, interviews, games and a lot more will be included!
  3. Official Engineers Bandanna – Each member of the Junior Engineer program receives a custom designed engineer’s bandanna just like the one Casey wears!
  4. Special Activities – From time to time special activities will be scheduled for Junior Engineers; first at the Interstate Fairgrounds and later at the new Reardan site.
  5. Railroad Pass – This pass is good for unlimited rides on the Fairgrounds Express!

To enroll a child, just send the child’s name, address, city, state, zip, age, phone on a separate piece of paper and a check to "IERHS Junior Engineer" at the above address. If it is a gift, tell us how you would like the card signed.
